Joanne Harding
Joanne Harding is a classically trained soprano and a highly experienced voice teacher and mentor with extensive professional performance and teaching experience. She works with singers to build strong, reliable vocal technique and develop confidence in their voice, their creativity, and themselves.
Her teaching is rooted in classical training and informed by a holistic understanding of the voice — supporting not only technical and musical literacy development, but the whole person behind the voice.
Alongside her teaching practice, Joanne works as an interdisciplinary artist, weaving voice, text, visual art, and musical composition.

Originally from Greece, I studied in the USA with a BA in Digital Media and an MFA in Photography from VSW, Rochester, N.Y. with Nathan Lyons, at the photographically prominent community of Rochester that has attracted such figures as Minor White and Robert Frank.
Professionally, I have taught in colleges in the US and Greece including a role as Course Director in North College Thessaloniki. I also worked as a commercial photographer, while developing my personal photographic practice. In Ireland, I have discovered and developed my work, and currently I am enhancing it in directions that I believe have cultural and artistic significance.
Specifically, my work explores biomorphic and fractal aesthetics that may suggest depictions of myth and folklore. Primarily focused in nature, the work explores abstract forms and random patterns, within which, we may be able to recognise signifiers of things other than the subjects photographed.

OUR FOUR COMPONENT STRATEGY
Technique is a foundational element that supports creatives from their beginning of their practice through every stage of their development. At times, creatives may rely on it too much and others not enough. For this reason it can be evaluated, brought into alignment and refined over time.
Technical Mastery
Today, more than ever, creatives express themselves in a multitude of ways, beyond a single medium of choice. Text, sound, music, photography, various visual arts, and moving image media etc, are all seamlessly integrated into social media and our digital tools forming a powerful, unified creative tool kit.
Understanding the origins, techniques, aesthetics and context of these mediums can deeply strengthen our work and connect our creative output to the genres that came before us. As a result, our creativity and mastery of our own mediums can explore new possibilities, integrate diverse strategies, and unfold in ways that feel truly innovative, wholesome and authentic.
Interdisciplinary Arts
Awareness, heart and spirit are the core elements of every artist, forming purpose, drive and direction in the work. We believe that real development comes from the willingness to go beyond what we already know while creating space for that which is yet to be experienced. This inner space becomes the ground for true creativity, authenticity and innovation.
Clarity of Self
In mastering technique and clarity of self our expression becomes elegant and purposeful to ourselves and others. By integrating the interdisciplinary aspect through other arts and points of view our work expands, includes and strengthens. The creative potential both in aesthetic and in personal expression grows exponentially from our centre outwards, in an exponential creative play that is sustainable, inclusive, universal.
